The recent Tire Cologne exhibition in Germany was a truly exciting event for the TECH team. Not only was it the first opportunity for us to represent TECH and Salvadori under our parent company, TRC, along with our Truflex/Pang and Pang Industrial brands, it was also a key opportunity for us to introduce our growing team and most importantly, catch up with our dedicated customers from around the globe.

To mark the occasion, our Customer Appreciation Evening was held on the evening of Wednesday 30th May at the nearby Radisson Blu Hotel. The evening provided a great opportunity to directly discuss with our customers, the TRC 4r strategic vision of Repair, Reuse, Recycle & Repurpose. Our VP of Sales & Marketing, Iain Walker, led the presentation and described how the brands within TRC are committed to delivering products which extract value from materials formerly considered to be at the end of their useful life, making a meaningful impact both financially and ecologically.

With thanks to our customers, TRC is proud of the incredible customer base which we have worked to build together throughout the EMEA region. We are committed to rewarding the hard work and dedication of customers with the latest and highest quality products, as well as technical & marketing support, product development and training initiatives. The evening was also the perfect setting to acknowledge our customers through our Special Recognition Awards, celebrating their dedication to sales, marketing and support of the brands within the TRC family.

Managing Director of Tech Europe, Gary Crawford, joined our VP of Sales & Marketing, Iain Walker to present the awards. First up, it was an honour to present Hugh Brady, Managing Director of TechPlus with the first award. Based in Tallaght in the Republic of Ireland, TechPlus have been a key partner of TRC since 1993, distributing a wide range of both TECH and Truflex/Pang tyre repair products. Not only have TechPlus shown a great commitment to the TECH and Truflex/Pang brands but they also extended this focus to execute strong marketing campaigns, whether this be via trade press, exhibitions, websites and social media.

Vitor Rocha, CEO of Altaroda was also recognised during the event having shown outstanding dedication to the TECH brand.  Based in Paredes, Portugal, Altaroda pride themselves on offering the very best in tyre repair and have built an impressive customer base because of their commitment to quality, innovation and customer service. Training is also a clear priority for Altaroda, having utilised our training facility in Belgium to deliver on the TECH promise to Teach Each Customer How.

Wegmann Automotive have shown outstanding growth in Italy and it was our honour to recognise this during the event. Accepting the award on their behalf was Sales Manager, Giacomo Lazzara. Based in Milan, Wegmann Automotive have proactively promoted our Truflex/Pang range of tyre repair materials through a multitude of channels, ensuring they are always bringing the correct products to market to satisfy their customer’s needs.

Finally, Sernesa of Vitoria, Spain were also recognised for their consistent growth of the TECH brand throughout their region. With a strong company history dating back to 1985, Sernesa have worked admirably to promote TECH tyre repair materials to become one of the largest distributors in EMEA. Rafa Alonso, Director at Sernesa, was also praised for the company’s work in promoting the TECH TPMS product offering through a dedicated sales portal, ensuring an efficient process for all customers.
